Concentration

I don’t know what it is specifically, but I’ve just had such a hard time concentrating and focusing at work these last couple of days.

I come in, I see the pile, and I do mean pile, of stuff I need to do and I just don’t know where to begin. It gets so overwhelming, it’s paralyzing sometimes.

I keep telling myself, okay, I’m going to do this, this and this by the end of the day and then something else pressing comes up or I find something older I need to take care of, and I just don’t get to it.

I try to organize myself, but my desk is too small for all the little piles of things, that my one big pile turns into just a complete mess.

Some days I just don’t want to go in and just want to stay home and work on home stuff. Don’t get me wrong, I am thankful that I have a job, but damn, I really do need to get away one of these days.

I was so looking forward to going to Blizzcon in October, but I wasn’t able to get tickets. I got into the ticket line online within the first 30 seconds and all of the tickets sold out before I got my chance. Grrr. There is going to be another way to get them, without going the ebay route, but those tix are going to be $500! Fuck!

I do need to go on a vacation soon. I just don’t know where or what I can really afford right now.

Must think positive. Must think positive that I can pull all of this off.

These are my thoughts right now, but I also know that things really aren’t as bad as I’m letting them on to be. A lot of it is PMS, which I hate because it affects me so drastically.

I took a nap tonight, but it’s still late and I should go to bed.

I just couldn’t resist.

I am so glad that the guidebook includes a “prep schedule.”  I am definitely going to be using that before using the regular rotation.  What’s also cool about the guidebook is that it also includes a Turbo Fire/ChaLEAN Extreme hybrid schedule!  Whoa!  So, if I am able to get through the regular rotation and I am totally not sick of Chalene by then, I can move onto that one too!  Yay!

I hate to say it, but I picked up ChaLEAN Extreme last year and never used it.  Doh!   I kept using the excuse that I needed to get some heavier weights so that is why I never did it.   Of course, there are modifications to use resistance bands, of which I do have quite a bit of variety, but nope, had to use the lack of weights as an excuse.  Well, no more excuses!  I just need to do it!

I’ll write more of a review later, but the only criticism that I have so far is that I am going to need a better sports bra, or going to need 2 of them in order to keeps the girls in check!
