Whoopsie Daisie
I was running around all over the place today at work – again. We had a big meeting today and I did my best to keep things going and making sure that everyone had what they needed.
Right after that one, there was about a 30 minute gap and then I had another meeting to set up. Yay! Thankfully another office set it up, so I wasn’t too worried about that one getting set up on time.
OCD came in today as well, but it’s all good. She now knows that she is no longer welcome and should not come back. I wish I could have seen the look on her face when she found that out. I think she probably freaked out, especially since I think she just kept showing up thinking that she would automatically be hired again next year. She thought wrong. Grrr. She caused everyone in the office soo much grief, it would just be so annoying coming into work knowing that she would be there.
One funny thing though, I helped a bunch of people get their paperwork straightened out after the meeting and this one lady, who said she was a makeup artist, said that she liked my eye makeup – it gave me sparkle. That was nice of her, but I just wanted to laugh since my mad skills come from Almay. They came out with these eyeshadows that were designed ot bring out your eyecolor a year or so ago and I absolutely love it! I have hazel eyes and I never could figure out what shades would work best with my eye color, and these work fabulously. Yay!
Today was a beach day after work. Thank goodness. The water was pretty chilly, but I did something that I didn’t think I was going to be able to do. I actually freestyled all the way between the 2 lifeguard stands closests to Magic Island at the Ala Moana Beach Park! It took a good 5 minutes to do so and I was so out of breath when I was done, but when I saw how close I was after 3 minutes, I just had to keep going. Go me!
After the beach, my workout buddy insisted that we also hit the gym, so we did that after getting a bite to eat. I just sat on the bike for 55 minutes or so. I was going to try the rowing machine, but there were quite a few people at the gym and I was, (ahem), feeling a bit gassy.
See, I am a lady.
I think I am getting fitter since my heart rate doesn’t get as high as it used to when I am working out, but my diet is still out of control. I really need to work on that and working on upping my intensity as well.
Man, I am exhausted. I think I will get to bed now.
