It’s the economy, stupid

David M. Walker, the head of the General Accounting Office is going on a tour trying to raise American awareness about the looming fiscal crisis that might hit America soon.

Finally!  At least someone very prominent in the government is speaking about the idiotic economic policies of the Bush administration. Obviously, I can’t say for certain is the economy is going to collapse, but I don’t understand how anyone can think that the tax cuts are sustainable when the government is spending I don’t know how many billions on the war in Iraq.  I really do hope that the Democrats win a majority in Congress and hopefully try to steer the government to some kind of fiscal responsibility.
