Firm Ultimate Fat Burning

So I did this workout last night and I am still unsure about it.  I must say that I was sweating bullets, but I don’t know if it actually was because of the workout or because it was 80 something degrees and it must have been 70% humidity.

I still felt that a lot of the moves were too awkward though.  Like in the first segment with weights, Allison has you do these french presses then go straight into lunges with bicep curls – which is a really awkward transition and you really can not go heavy on the weights while doing this since I think you could really injure your shoulders doing that.

Also the last segment is kickboxing – which I like, but I still think that it could have been choreographed a bit better.  First thing she has you do are shuffles and then go straight into a side kick on the inside leg with a jab.  I just feel like it would have been better to do a shuffle, a knee raise and then a kick – just so that a person could get into a better position to make sure that their form was okay.  By doing the shuffle straight into a sidekick – I just feel that you aren’t really doing the kick justice and just end up flailing the leg out there – but that’s just me.  But the kickboxing segment really gets my heartrate up, which is a good thing.
